When Antigone is given an impossible resolution, she takes matters into her own hands, even though she knows it will cost her her life. Despite political and familial pressure, she breaks the law to give her brother a proper burial. She carves her own path because she knows her choices, even if punishable by death, mean more than the words of politicians and the majority. In our own adaptation (complete with a prologue battle sequence) of this classic piece of theatre history, one that feels so perfectly timely, we get to take this thousands years old play into our own hands.

This new event will be our program's biggest thespian fundraiser of the year, helping our students go to workshops and performances around the country.
